KP Learn Supported Browsers

Please follow these guidelines to ensure you have a consistent experience with KP Learn functionality and receive credit for the courses you complete.
1. Use Internet Explorer (IE) 11, the current supported browser for KP Learn.
It has been tested to make sure you can search, register for classes, launch and track course progress, and view or print the KP Learn transcripts and course completions.
Additional notes
  • The KP help desk provides assistance when there are issues using a supported browser.
  • KP-supported browsers change with the latest technology, and this page is updated as content is tested and confirmed to work with the latest technology.
  • To determine what version of Internet Explorer is on your machine click Help > About.
2. If you don't have Internet Explorer (IE) 11, you can try an earlier IE version you have installed.
Earlier versions of Internet Explorer may still work for KP Learn functionality and launching content.
3. Disable or enable IE Compatibility Mode

If you're using Internet Explorer (IE) and have issues viewing courses, see if disabling or enabling Compatibility Mode will help. Compatibility Mode is a feature that helps display web content that was designed for older versions of IE but it sometimes causes problems when viewing courses. Use the instructions on the right to disable or enable compatibility mode.

IMPORTANT: Use Compatibility Mode only when needed, then remove kp.org from the Compatibility View settings.

To disable Compatibility Mode for KP.org:
  1. Open a new Internet Explorer window
  2. Go to Tools > Compatibility View settings
  3. Select kp.org and click Remove
  4. Login to KP Learn and re-launch the course
To enable Compatibility Mode for KP.org:
  1. Open a new Internet Explorer window
  2. Go to Tools > Compatibility View settings
  3. Type kp.org
  4. Click Add and then click Close
  5. Login to KP Learn and re-launch the course
4. Web-based training and other services in KP Learn have been shown to work best in Internet Explorer. Other browsers may provide some or all KP Learn functionality.

Chrome is available on KP desktops. KP Learn may not function properly in Google Chrome. This includes using KP Learn functionality or launching and completing content.

Firefox may be available on some KP desktops. KP Learn may not function properly in Firefox. This includes using KP Learn functionality or launching and completing content.

Edge Browser (Windows 10 Operating System) Windows 10 operating system contains both the Edge browser and Internet Explorer 11 (IE11). KP Learn may not function properly in the Edge browser. Please use the Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) browser.

Safari may be available on some KP devices (Apple devices). KP Learn may not function properly in Safari. This includes using KP Learn functionality or launching and completing content.
